Sapana School is one project of the umbrella organization, Sapana Village Social Impact (S.V.S.I).

Sapana School started with 20 children of 3 and 4 years of age in a kindergarten group in 1st of May 2016. The school works with a child centered education system in which the children are counselled in their learning process by teachers and child care assistants.

The leading thought of this system is that each child is a unique person. And that each child learns in his / her own way. The learning of children is driven by their natural curiosity and their need to grow. The children learn by playing and their coaches will guide them to more learning experiences through e.g. play, arts, culture, singing, dancing, storytelling and science games.

Why a Sapana School ?

We want to support and educate children in their growth to social, creative, self conscious, independent and well developed personalities, who will make a positive and effective contribution to society in our region and our country. We want them to be persons who take responsibility for their own future, own people, fellow countrymen and global well being.

We want them to be prepared for the future of their own choice with a sound knowledge of their own cultures.

  • We want to provide for good education of standards of the 21st century for both the youngest children, starting a kindergarten (nursery and pré school), that will evolve in a complete primary school.

  • We will provide adult education especially for illiterate women

  • We founded a school fund to be able to support children of marginalized inhabitants of Chitwan by scholarships.
