How It Started by Marije Joshe and Elsa Geilman
Good Impression
For the realization of his dreamschool, Mr. Giri met Marie Joshe and Elsa Geilman at a health camp organized by Sapana Village Social Impact. Both women were deeply impressed by Mr. Giri's vision of an innovative educational institution and were eager to support his mission. Recognizing the potential impact of such a school, they decided to take an active role in bringing this vision to life.
Dream Establishment
Marie and Elsa founded an organization in the Netherlands dedicated to supporting the establishment and development of Mr. Giri's dream school. They began by raising the necessary funds, reaching out to donors and organizing fundraising events to gather financial support. Understanding that financial resources alone were not enough, they also focused on ensuring the quality of education and infrastructure.
Training Program
The women arranged for comprehensive teacher training programs, equipping educators with the skills and methodologies aligned with the school's philosophy of experiential learning and mentorship. They were instrumental in designing the school buildings and classrooms, ensuring that the physical environment was conducive to interactive and student-centered learning. Throughout the process, Marie and Elsa maintained close involvement, regularly monitoring the school's progress. They provided valuable feedback and made adjustments as needed to ensure the school remained true to its founding principles. Their dedication and support were crucial in transforming Mr. Giri's dream into a functioning, progressive educational institution.
